The Mississippi Gaming and Hospitality Association is a non-profit organization whose mission is to protect and enhance the reputation and success of the gaming industry within the State of Mississippi. The MGHA was chartered in 1993 and works in cooperation with the American Gaming Association headquartered in Washington, D.C.

Historically, MGHA has hosted its annual gaming conference known as Southern Gaming Summit (SGS).  For many years, SGS has been one of the premier gaming conferences in the southeast.  In 2024, MGHA will host SGS as a “Celebration of Gaming” and will induct four new recipients into the Mississippi Gaming Hall of Fame.  The celebration will be held on June 27, 2024 at the Beau Rivage.  The event will begin at 5 PM in the Magnolia Ballroom.  Our keynote speakers will be Biloxi Mayor Andrew “FoFo” Gilich and Gulfport Mayor Billy Hewes.  Our emcees for the evening will be Michael Sunderman (M2 Media Corp.) and Todd Trenchard (Bacot Foundation).

MGHA will bring together state, local and industry leaders to celebrate the positive impacts of the gaming industry and to recognize the 2024 Mississippi Gaming Hall of Fame recipients.

The MGHA 2024 Hall of Fame recipients will be chosen soon.  Each of these recipients have made a mark not only on our industry, but on Mississippi and our local communities in a way that deserves special recognition.  We hope you will join us!

MGHA’s designated charity for this event is Bacot Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization providing support to many in need along the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
