Two Afternoon Conference Sessions Popular
With Southern Gaming Summit Attendees

BILOXI, Miss. (April 26, 2004) — Attendees to next week’s Southern Gaming Summit will get a first-hand look at the hottest slots, the latest games and the newest products coming soon to casinos throughout the region.

All of the gaming industry’s leading slot machine manufacturers will show their latest wares on the expo floor the afternoons of May 5 and 6 at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum and Convention Center. And all Southern Gaming Summit attendees are invited to attend one of the Conference program’s most popular sessions, “Hot Slots: Latest Games, Newest Products,” at 2 p.m. May 5.

Representatives from AC Coin & Slot Service Co., Aristocrat Technologies, Atronic Americas, Bally Gaming and Systems, IGT, Konami Gaming, Inc. and WMS Gaming, will serve as panelists in the “Hot Slots” session. They will talk about what’s new in multi-line and multi-coin, bonusing and second-event technology, licensed games, and video and slot software. Session attendees will hear the latest thinking for managing their purchasing and leasing decisions, and for making revenue-sharing work in their casinos.

The May 6 afternoon seminar is titled “Leading the Leaders: Motivation in Basic Training.” Presenting this dynamic session will by Sean Joyce, Ph.D., president of Omega Consultants to Management. Joyce is an agent representing NFL players, and has written a number of inspirational books, including “The Survey Says.” He has been a consultant to such companies as 3M, AT&T, The U.S. Army, W.R. Grace, The Hospital Corp. of America and Dun & Bradstreet. Dr. Joyce believes that people learn best when they are enjoying themselves, so his sessions are filled with laughter as well as solid, usable information. Dr. Joyce’s motivational presentation is open to all Southern Gaming Summit attendees.

If addition to the two afternoon sessions, the SGS Conference program includes 12 diverse educational seminars and General Session keynotes the mornings of May 5 and 6. All morning sessions are open to Conference registrants only. Among the eight keynote presenters is Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour.
